SUNDAY 10-1-2017 LAS VEGAS, NV- Psychopathic gunman Stephen Paddock opens fire from the 32nd Floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, killing 50 and wounding 100’s of others.
So far, little is known of the political motivations of the crime.
Paddock’s brother, who is admittedly not very close to him, says he was not very political.
Paddock managed to get 8, correction, 23 different firearms into his Hotel room and set-up a sniper-type posture overlooking the venue which ultimately served as the perfect killbox for his mass-murder/suicide which stand as the deadliest shooting on US soil.
Progressives have wasted no time in pounding their “gun control drum,” making sure we all realize that 156,000 people have died due to gun violence since Sandy Hook. I would remind them that 60,000,000 babies have been murdered since Roe v Wade.
If you care about life, care about all life.
My heart breaks for the families of the maniac who packed his arsenal into a room over-looking his would-be killing field and slaughtered Stars and Stripes wearing good-ole’ boys and girls having a cold one and singing about God and Country.
Rest assured that if it had been a Hip-Hop show the left would be crying “White Supremacy,” so forgive me when I assume anti-Christian, anti-American, alt-left, progressive bigotry is to blame for destroying the lives of thousands on the Vegas Strip Sunday night.
We will find out in the coming days.
In the wake of this horrific tragedy I humbly offer a simple prayer.
Heavenly Father, touch those affected, once again, by a sinner, out of control, lost in the depths of his own lust, deceived by the powers of darkness, who chose to violate your law and your commandments and take the life of another human being outside of the constraints of a military or peacekeeping context.
Lord, teach us to love as You loved and teach us to forgive as You forgave, but mostly teach us that without You we can do nothing, without You we ARE nothing and that in the hearts of those who know You there remains no place for senseless violence, vengeance or wrath.
Reinforce in our hearts and minds the need to protect the good from those that would do the good harm and help us to continue to err on the side of mercy, liberty and freedom, as Your Word teaches.
Bind up the wounds of the broken hearted and give us the strength to carry on.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
As America strays further from its founding principles, further from God and devolves into our own secular humanistic system of morality, the more often we will see tragedies such as Las Vegas and Sandy Hook. When we change our God-fearing society into a “if-it-feels-good-do-it” cult the more often deranged lunatics will decide it feels right to steal, kill and destroy.
The cancer that is slowly destroying America has nothing to do with guns or politics, but has everything to do with the condition of our souls.
